The ANU Centre for European Studies warmly invites you to a public lecture “Ancient Greek Law and Justice in Modern Democracies" by his Honour, Justice Andrew S. Kostopoulos, Justice of the Supreme and National Courts of Papua New Guinea, during his visit to Canberra in August.

In this public lecture, Justice Kostopoulos will speak to the genesis, development and application of Ancient Greek Laws and Codes to the modern systems of justice in western democracies. He will also address the citation and reference to Ancient Greek Law in the Courts of the European Union.

Justice Kostopoulos will deliver his lecture, followed by a Q and A session between 11am - 12:15pm followed by a light lunch.
